AMAR P.U. OIL is applied mainly to obtain an oil pull up effect on leather The leather treated with the product can be further finished with othei finishing agents to give varied effects.

Application
AMAR P. U. OIL contains hydrophobe in a blend of oil suitable for use in finishing of oil pull up leather.

It can be applied as it is or can be diluted with alcohols like Ethly Alcohol i 'he proportion of 3 : 1 to 1 : 1 depending upon the absorbency of the crus The viscosity of the solution can be incresed by the addition of sma quantities of water. AMAR P.U. OIL can also be applied in acqueous system by emulsifying with Non-ionic emuUifier coupled with sulphonated oil i system.

SYNTHETIC FATLIQUOR
ARIFAT-AX-902 is a white to yellowwish paste based on sulphon synthetic oils.

Properties and Application
AMARIAT AWR offers an easy production of waterproof grain and suede leather of high quality. Depending on the hide material and the leather thickness the waterproofing can be increased until! full impregnation. In order ot get a high water-resistance the tanner has to be cautious with the chemical used during the processes of beamhouse, tannery and wet Finishing. There he should avoid all materials which raise the water uptake of the leather.

AMARIAT AWR has outstanding presentation and fixing properties in a leather which is accordingly pre-treated. The neutralization has to be mild bit through the whole coss section to pH not lower than 4.5 For neutralization it is useful to use sodium sulphite, sodium formate or sodium bicarbonate, Calcium formate is unsuitable. With a leather thickness of morethan 3 mm after shaving it is recommended to extend the neutralization over night.

A retaining process with vegetable tanning materials leads to a better distribution of AMARFAT AWR and improves the waterproffing effect in the unfixed tanning agents have been throughly washed out of the leather AMARFAT AWR has to be drummed in to the leather in a short, warm f| High temperatures are not necessary. 400C, on thin leathers up to -500C thin leathers up to 500C, are recommended.

A full waterproofing of chrome leather requires about 10.0% of AMARlAT AWR.
