Aritan Adc Uquid

• This is used in neutralisation retanning, dyeing and fat liquoring depending on the end requirement of leather.
• Imparts softness, round and pleasant handle in retannage vegetable tanned leathers.
• Acts in chrome tanning as masking agent in order to obtain better chrome absorption.

Applications
ARITAN GDC LIQUID particularly suitable for the retannage of the following types of leather.

ARITAN DS LIQUID is a bleaching syntan having good cleaning and bleaching action esp. for sole and vegetable tanned leathers to get on even. Clean bright and light coloured surface.

Applications
ARITAN DS liquid is generaly used at last stage of processing. The pretanned leather if loaded in a drum and 2-3% ARITAN' DS liquid is added and run for 30-40 mins, ARITAN DS can be added during chrome tanning for getting white or paste shade.

ARITAN AB3 / AB4 is a synthetic tanning agent for bleaching vegetable tanned or retanned leather to a pale colour.

Properties

• Particularly suitable for the bleaching of El tanned leather.
• ARITAN AB3 produces a neutral pale leather colour while ARITAN AB4 gives a pronounced yellowish tinge
• Removes the iron stains on vegetable and retanned leathers, stable to iron and no discolouration accurs due to iron.
• Imparts an even, clean and bright look without effecting the resistance to cracking of the grain.

Application

• ARITAN AB3 is mostly preferred for bleaching EI leather while ARITAN AB4 is preferred for bleaching heavy leathers like factory sole leather, industrial leather etc.
• Drum Bleaching : light & medium weight leathers are drummed with 3.5% of ARITAN AB3 or AB4 in 150% of float at 30^oC until the desired bleach effect is attained followed by rising for five minute in running water.
• Dip Bleaching : This is carried out in plastic tubs containing solution of 70-100 gm of ARITAN AB3 or AB4 per litre of water. The leathers to be bleached are imersed for a short period in the solution given a short rinse.

A verstile synthetic replacement syntan, well suited for the retannage of chrome, vegetable and combination tannedleathers.

Characteristics Appearance : ARITAN Al is a spray dried pale cream coloured powder. Concetration : 95 % (min) Tannin Content : (Filter Bell Method) : 70-75% pH (1:10 solution) : 3.0-3.5

Properties

• Being readily water soluble it can be added fo drum liquors.
• Compatible with all synthetic and vegetable tanning agents.
• Anionic in nature and not sensitive to salts.
• Produces resillient leathers with fine, tight grain and very good fullness.
• Assists the penetration and ensures uniform distribution of vegetable and resintanning agents.
• Can be used as a replacement tanning agent in all stages of tannage for the production of heavy, medium and light leathers.
• Used either alone or in combination with vegetable and/or other syntans on various types of leathers
• In the retannage of chrome leather, it imparts a paler and more uniform appearance to the leather and in vegetable tannage, it gives leather with pale colour.

ARITAN RT is replacement tanning agent for white tannings, when used alongwith the vegetable tanning it accelerates the tanning process and improves the Feels of the leather with a light level shade. If used alone, it qives a soft white leather with good light fastness preserving the natural grain and maintaining the black and white contrast it is most suitable for drawn grain leather.

Stability And Compatibility

• Stable to Acids but with excess of Alkali and Salts the product may separate out.
• Compatible with Non-ionics and Anionics but may ppt with Cationics.

Application

• In general, the tanning process is carried out in paddle or drum. The Pickled pelts are depickled or allowed to drain for longtime before tanning.
• About 40-50% ARITAN RT is used and added in several portions.

Properties

• Possesses good compability with other syntans and vegetable tannis.
• In retannge of chrome leathers as well as self tannage, it results in production of white leathers with a fine, smooth and tight grain, which has good buffing properties.
• Highly suitable to produce nubuck and suede leathers with a short nap as well as it imparts good buffabiliiy.
• Suitable for producing shrunk grain effect on pickled leathers.

Properties
ARITAN AS is a spray dried powder. It has a strong bleaching effect when use on its own on chrome leathers. It has slightly buffering action with a medium filling effect . It also prevents sludge formation in tan liquors and helps produce a brighter, lighter and cleaner leather.

Properties

• It is spray dried powder ideally suited For retanning of chrome tanned leather specially For pastel shades.
• Improves grain tightness and gives level dyeing
• Gives suppleness, Fullness and smooth grain surface.
• Produces level dyeing without altering the intensity of the dye shade.
• Can be used with other syntans to obtain particular property in the leather.

ARITAN AMR is suitable for wide range of application in processing of full grain upper.

ARITAN AB-6 is a syntan for retanning of chrome and combination tanned leathers for the production of soft leathers possessing improved ,fullness and good dyeing properties.

CHEMICAL COMPOSITION
Resin tanning agent based on melamine.

Characteristics Appearance : Off white powder pH (1:10) : 7.5-8.5

Properties

• Disperses in water giving a slightly turbid with a weakly alkaline reaction.
• Anionic in nature and has good compatibility with all anionic tanning agents, dyes and auxilaries.
• Stability is not impaired at pH above 3
• It make the leather Fuller, particularly in the loose structured areas besides imparting fine, closed grain and soft handle.
• Assists in getting good dyeing properties with hardly any lightening effect on the colour intensity.
• Improves the buffing properties of suede and nubuck leathers.

Application

• Used in the retannage alongwith syntans or syntans and vegetable tannis after neutralization of leathers.
• Application for soft upper, nappa, upholstery, bag, garment, suede and nubuck leathers.
